Terrace cleaning: professional tips for every surface type

·5 min

Cleaning a terrace seems simple — but wrong cleaning damages joints, opens surfaces and makes moss return faster.

Concrete tiles are robust but porous. Use a rotating cleaning head at high pressure for even cleaning.

Ceramic terrace tiles are harder but more sensitive to joint damage. Use moderate pressure and a wide nozzle.

Wood composite requires the most care: always use low pressure and spray in the direction of the wood grain.

Natural stone like bluestone is sensitive to acids. Never use vinegar or citric acid for deposits.

After each cleaning: let the terrace dry completely and apply an impregnation layer.
